The torn ligament in Billy Goat’s pitching hoof takes two out of three of the Backpages, with the Yankee brawl at Disneyland snagging the News. A philosophical question for the Heroes this morning: If a dynasty falls in Anaheim and no one cares enough to stay up to hear it, does it make a sound? (Backpageman says, yes, it does and it sounds a little like the deep slurping sound of Yankee broadcaster John Sterling sucking the ice cream off his finger at the buffet table.)
